AAPP Power Lunch Program Program
Next program in September

Over the last two years, the networking luncheons have become a “must-attend” event for many small businesses. The new location at the Puget Sound Regional Council’s facilities on Western Avenue can accommodate a larger group and it is filled to capacity at each event. Recognizing the state of the economy and the challenges faced by small businesses, the AAPP has set out on a strategic direction for the networking luncheons. The focus is to identify contracting opportunities in specific areas and to bring the stakeholders and the businesses together.

ABOUT AAPP

Founded in 2004 by L. David Tyner, III and Dr. Andrew Harris, the AAPP (African-American Partners For Prosperity) is a 501 C(3) non-profit organization whose vision is to inform, educate, and advocate on behalf of Small Business Owners experiencing extremely disproportionate contracting results within the public-private sector throughout the state of Washington.

AAPP has developed strategic alignments with the Seattle Chamber of Commerce, Regional Prosperity Partnership, Puget Sound Regional Council, and a number of ethnic Chambers of Commerce in the Puget Sound area. Our goal is to establish effective partnering relationships between small business firms and mainstream businesses that are collaborative and mutually benefical to all parties. Through our Power Lunch Programs and annual state-wide Small BusinessTrade Conferences, small firms now network with majority firms as well as key decision makers in the public-private sector business community

AAPP MISSION STATEMENT
