The Executive "Power Lunch" Program
for MBO (Minority Business Owners)
Power Lunch Program:
Is designed to provide a comfortable venue for Minority Business Owners and senior representatives from the Public-Private sector to meet over a " Brown Bag " luncheon. During the luncheon two speakers from the MBO community are given 8-10 minutes each, to present a brief history of their company, it's successes and current challenges. Subsequently, two speakers from the Public-Private sector also speak for 8-10 minutes on their organization, various economic outreach programs and other protocols in place to assist MBO participation in their contractual spend. Since it's beginning in January 2007 numerous MBO firms report excellent networking connections being made, as they are allowed the opportunity to present their business capacities both to other MBO firms and the Public-Private sector. Public-Private sector participants have confirmed that the event allows them to meet MBO firms they otherwise may not have met.
The Power Lunch Program also allows for a friendly question and answer period, as well as for networking between the participants. The Program is designed to take place the second Friday of the month, during the months of January thru June with a suspension during the summer months. The program resumes in September and concludes for the year with the November lunch. For Information on the Latest Powerlunch Session or to View the latest Powerlunch Flyer Please Click Here...
