ABOUT AAPP

Founded in 2004 by L. David Tyner, III and Dr. Andrew Harris, the AAPP (African-American Partners For Prosperity) is a 501 C(3) non-profit organization whose vision is to inform, educate and advocate on behalf of Minority Business Owners (MBO’s) experiencing extremely disproportionate contracting results within the public-private sector throughout the state of Washington.

AAPP has developed strategic alignments with the Seattle Chamber of Commerce, Regional Prosperity Partnership, Puget Sound Regional Council and a number of ethnic Chambers of Commerce in the Puget Sound area. Our goal is to establish effective partnering relationships between MBO firms and mainstream businesses that are collaborative and mutually benefical to all parties. Through our Power Lunch Programs and annual state-wide MBO Trade Conferences, MBO firms now network with majority firms as well as key decision makers in the public-private sector business community

AAPP MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the AAPP (African American Partners for Prosperity) is to create, develop and promote sustainable prosperity for the African-American business community within the state of Washington.
